Roommates Stole My Car Title And Are Now Refusing To Take Me Off The Lease After I Moved Out

About 6 months ago I (19) moved in with two roommates to get out of a bad home situation (both mid-20s). They’re a couple and have a baby together. We moved out to Colorado for better opportunities and because one of my roommates works as a maintenance manager we got discounted rent at the apartment complex we moved to. I had bought a cheap van to get through the winter and I gave my roommates my keys, title, and bill of sale until I got my liscence for safekeeping since I trusted them at the time. Everything was going good between us until around Thanksgiving we switched apartments in the complex to a bigger apartment. I started dating someone in October so I had mostly been staying with him at this point so I hadn’t unpacked much of my room. One of my roommates freaked out about this and started acting very overbearing and acting like my mother. She accused me of being on drugs or some equivalent and just being absolutely insane considering this is a roommate not my mother which at that moment I just decided I would just move out which I did not tell them at the time to avoid conflict. I came back to the apartment to grab my keys so I can start moving all of my stuff out. My other roommate hung them up for me at first but when I came out of my room to get my keys the first roommate tells me that since my room isnt clean enough for them that they would not give me my keys back until either my room is clean or all of my stuff is out. She then threatened to sell the van if I did not pay that months rent. I had never been late or short on rent and I had even offered them more so the reasoning just made no sense. I went downstairs to call the police since they were refusing to give me my keys. When they arrived, I went up with them back to the apartment where my guy roommate comes out. Hes talking to the cop and says that they will not give the keys back and then insinuates that ‘anyone can write a bill of sale’ when I brought up that my name is on it. The girl roommate them comes out and says the same thing and that she has wrote her name on the title. At that point there was really nothing I can do about that besides pay rent and let the van go, and move out. Since they took my van that I was going to use to move all of my stuff out I did have to leave some of my stuff there. That same day I went down to the apartment complex to talk to them about getting my name off the lease and the process. I was told I would get a call the next day with the business manager to talk about it which I never received. Since one of my roommates works there, instead of calling me the office went to them and told them about my conversation with the office. My roommate texted me and said that they would take care of the lease and it would be resigned the beginning of January. I have called the apartment complex three times since then where each time they have told me the process of my name being taken off still hasnt been started yet. It’s been almost a month now and no one is communicating with me and I dont know what to do. Would it be worth it to go back to the apartment complex and try to sign myself again or should I just wait it out. Im not in the financial situation to afford a lawyer either.
