Sexual Assault Accusations

Hey, I needed some advice on how to handle this. So recently I learned that my ex was already dating or trying to date someone new and so I wanted her to give me my stuff back especially the laptop I had given her for use. I had no way of contacting her so I approached her at work with her manager in presence. I told my ex I wanted to talk to her and she said no and the manager told her to go to the office. I talked with the manager and told the manager that I need her to give me my stuff back. The manager went and talked with the girl and came back saying that my ex said that she donated my clothing and that she does not know anything about a laptop. The manager advised me to leave and so I did. This morning I find a conversation between my ex and one of her friends where my ex accuses me of sexual assault (rape). And she also states that she has the laptop and that I gifted to her and that I am not getting it back. The sexual assault accusation is quite serious. I believe she is referring to when she wanted sexual activity and we were doing stuff besides penetration as per her wish. She was grinding on me and then wanted me top and I was in the heat of the moment and asked if we could continue to penetration and at first seemed hesitant and then she got scared and said no. So we stopped the whole sexual encounter.

Two stupid things I did. I notified this accusation to her manager and one of her friends and asked them to tell her to stop lying on my name.

I also contacted her father via Facebook (only form of contact I found) and told him I have recordings of the conversation between her and her friend and I would like to have a serious conversation with him. He has not replied to this yet.

I would appreciate advice on how to move forward with this. Should I just leave it alone or take some action to protect myself.
