Someone Is Claiming My Mother Raped Her/poisoned Her And I’m Stalking Her?

Hello everyone. I posted here a few days ago but now things have gotten worse.

**The update: now my mother has been served a TPO and this girl is claiming my mother raped her, poisoned her and threatened to kill her. My mother is absolutely distraught. This lady is filing false police reports against us and now we both have to go to court for this protection order. Is there anything we can do like file one against her for harassment with these false claims for years now? I’ve already contacted the police department for all of the reports/claims she has made against me for the past 5-6 years so I have copies for court. Last time she took my mother to court for a TPO a few years ago it was apparently granted for a year, now she is back accusing my mother of more things yet again. This is causing us so much stress and we can’t afford an attorney, my mother is on disability.

I was served papers to go to court for a protection order because someone who is mentally ill claims I am stalking and harassing her.

This someone used to be my mother’s friend when I was younger. My mother stopped hanging out with her after she started drinking heavily and doing hard drugs. She hasn’t been the same person since. Last time I ever saw her was over a decade ago.

She has made claims that my mom put speakers inside of her, that we have both tried to run her over, that we stalk her at her home and threatened to burn her mother’s trailer down. She has been making these type of claims for over 6 years now. It is something different every year. She took my mother to court for a protection order against her a few years ago after making the same stalking/harassment claims and now she is doing it to me.

I have never contacted her once. I want nothing to do with her. She is mentally ill and I just want to be left alone. I don’t understand how she is able to keep doing this and not get arrested for false police reports. I have a court date on march 20th and I am nervous because I have never been to court and I have anxiety/panic attacks. I just want her to leave me alone and I feel like this is going to happen forever.

Is there anything I can do? Can I get this dismissed? Her claim now is that I have been stalking and harassing her for 20 years, I was 8 years old 20 years ago, and that me and my mother threatened to burn down her mothers trailer and stole her property. This is causing me so much stress having to deal with this every single year it is something with her. I feel like I’m being harassed at this point. She isn’t mentally well and won’t leave us alone. What can I do?
