Stalking Help

Hi there.

I, 16F, broke up with a toxic boyfriend, 17M, nine months ago. Ever since, he has been threatening me, stalking me, defaming me, etc. He has ganged up on me with other boys, called and texted me scary things through friends' phones, shown up to my house uninvited, etc. While we were together, he SA'd me, told me he stabbed someone, said he was strong enough to kill me if he wanted to, etc. Point is, it has been scary as fuck. I can provide more details if wanted/needed, but I need help.

I tried to handle this through one-on-one conversations with him, but that didn't work. He would try to threaten me into getting into his car alone with him, say he is going to make my life a living hell, get up in my face and try to scare me, etc. Then, I tried to work it out by talking to his mom; she was helpful for about five seconds. Then, I tried to handle it through a low-key conversation with the school. I wanted to be kind; I didn't want to ruin his life, even though he seems to want me dead. Eventually, though, I realized that wasn't working either, and after feeling extremely suicidal for months on end, I was tired.

I explained to the school that this had gone too far, and something legal needed to happen. They gave him and me cease and desist orders. I, and my mother, were told these were official legal documents that would end up in jail time, fines, him being removed from the school, whatever, if they were violated. AT THE VERY LEAST, I was promised we would not have any classes together. This has not been the case. I came to find out the cease was not legitimate after it was violated. From what I understand, he was also told it would have extreme consequences and violated it anyway, which is terrifying.

Now, he has not even faced lunch detention. The school admin and police know everything that has happened since the day we met, and nothing. has happened. I am so fucking scared, and I have just been lied to while he goes on about his day as if nothing happened.
