Step-mother Used An Emergency Poa To Transfer My Late Father's Revocable Trust To Herself While He Was Sedated In The Icu. How Do I Freeze The Assets?

Location: Georgia. My dad passed away three weeks ago after a massive stroke followed by cardiac complications. He spent eleven days in the ICU under heavy sedation and mechanical ventilation before passing. For over twelve years, my sister and I were the sole designated beneficiaries of his revocable living trust, which held the family home (fully paid off) and his main brokerage accounts. Dad married his current wife four years ago, and they had a prenup keeping his pre-marital trust assets completely separate. Last Friday, my sister and I contacted dad's estate attorney to start probate, only to learn that his wife had presented an amended trust schedule along with a brand new durable power of attorney signed just 48 hours before dad died.

According to the attorney, the new POA gave her broad modification powers, and she immediately used it to remove my sister and me as beneficiaries and name herself sole trustee. The document was supposedly stamped by a mobile notary who came to the hospital room late at night. The insanity is that ICU medical charts prove my dad was in a medically induced coma on fentanyl and propofol during that exact window. There is zero possibility he was conscious, let alone capable of signing legal paperwork. When we confronted her, she got defensive and claimed dad "verbally told her to fix the paperwork" and that she was just honoring his wishes.

We just found out from a family friend that she already put dad's truck up for sale and is rushing an appraisal on the house to take out a private loan or sell it fast. Our first formal consultation with a probate litigation lawyer isnt until next Thursday because everyone is swamped, but I am terrified that by then the accounts will be drained and the property tied up. Is there a way to file an emergency injunction or lis pendens immediately to freeze the assets before our formal court date, and how are mobile notaries usually investigated when they notarize signatures for comatose patients?
