Stepdad Is Trying To Kick My Mom Mom Out Of Their House

Hi,

I've never done a reddit post before so please forgive me if my formatting is weird. To give the basic rundown, my mom and stepdad recently moved to a new city in Texas and both their names are on the deed. My stepdad just yesterday decided he wanted to divorce my mom and told her that she needed to leave the house. It turned into a verbal argument between the two and my mom says she refuses to leave the house unless he sells it.
Well, he threatened to call the cops and have her kicked out but eventually the two just went to different parts of the house and left each other alone for a bit. A bit later my mom tried to enter the bedroom to get sleeping stuff and found the door barricaded and was told to stay out. Stepdad kept telling her to stop "harassing" him and more threats to call the cops were made. Eventually both of them ended up calling but since nothing physical happened they just took some statements and left. They both went to bed and for now it's quiet but I doubt it'll stay that way for long.

Honestly I have no idea what else to include in this so I'm just gonna rapid fire some info:

- They've been married for about 7 or 8 years

- House is owned by both of them

- Mother has little money after the move and only recently got a job here, so moving again is out of the question

- We're extremely far from family or friends that she could stay with

- I'm 20, I'm home from college for the summer and just happened to be in the house when this all unfolded

- I'm my moms only child so there's no other children involved

I'm supposed to leave in about two weeks for a study abroad but I don't feel comfortable leaving my mom alone in this situation. So please, if anyone has any advice for how I can help out my mom, resources to turn to, or whatever the law has to say about this please please help me out. Writing this at 4 AM so sorry if some stuff is unclear.
