Card image cap

COLORADO HEMP HONEY by Frangiosa Farms. We’ve stocked CHH for four years and keep it on our constant reorder list. In May, we sold 23 12-ounce jars at $39.99 each, four 6-ounce jars at $24.99 each and 17 single-serving sticks at $3.99 each. They sell themselves after a customer samples, but we also stay well informed on CBD products. Nick French of CHH sends us samples with each order and always includes product information along with display signage. He and his team are great, super informative and love their brand as much as we love keeping our shelves stocked! — Roxane Cann, The Dapper Hound, Mount Airy, NC

CAT IN THE BOX toys! We sold over 50 last month! Loree and Danielle Shirazi, The Original Paw Pleasers, San Diego, CA

  • SPRINGLAND Dog Collars and Charms. We’ve been doing “pop up” events to make and sell these, and they’re a big hit! — Dorothy Evans, Bushwickbark, Brooklyn, NY
  • The “4th of July” Woof Pupsicles FLEW off the shelves. We sold out of our entire stock, 24, of Large Pupsicles Toys during Memorial Day Weekend alone. Ashley Lancaster, Hot Diggity, Barnstable, MA
  • I brought in SPOT FARMS Chicken Apple Sausages. They flew off the shelves. In one month, they jumped to our top three treats sold. We handed them out to “picky” dogs, explained that they smelled like a Slim Jim and were human grade. Everyone with a picky dog who took the treat bought two and came back for more. — Ian Coburn, Ann-Imals Pet Supply, York, ME
  • RAWTERNATIVE 1-pound bags were en fuego this month, thanks in part to the brand’s vigorous sample program. Shout out to rep Kelly Owens for providing so much brand support. We moved 35 bags at $26.99 each and might’ve sold a few more — we did not anticipate demand and were out of stock a couple times! — Katherine Ostiguy, Crossbones, Providence, RI
  • May was a huge month for Astro Loyalty cat can deals, which helped propel us to our biggest month since we opened in July 2023. We sold 3,040 cat cans in total from FARMINA, RAWZ, LOTUS, EVANGER’S and TIKI CAT. — Sherry Cassin, Meow Mini Mart, Jersey City, NJ
  • New UPCOUNTRY collars. I think after the dreary winter, everyone was ready for something new and bright — Cabana Stripe has been flying. — Lauren Gallagher, Everything But The Dog, Reading, MA
  • JONES NATURAL CHEWS Bacon Woofers has consistently been a top seller since we started carrying it two years ago. Because bacon, LOL, but also it’s a low-cost snack that breaks up easily, and all Jones products are made in the USA. They retail for $1.99, and we sold 26 last month. — Corey Heenan, Boutique and Pet Spa, Altamont, NY
  • HEALTH EXTENSION shelf-stable gently cooked is still a good mover here. We continue to convert the folks who are tired of subscriptions to Farmer’s Dog, et al., and they love not having to dedicate any freezer space. We sell, on average, about two full cases of the 9-ounce packs per day. — Brett Foreman, euPAWria Holistic Pet Center, Owego, NY
  • MONTANA DOG FOOD CO Trail Snacks. Bison is the top seller, but Chicken and Beef are close runners-up. They are $15 a bag — in all, sold 21 units. They sell well because they are a great single-ingredient treat, but for us it is a “local”-ish company, and that always engages our tourist customers. — Amy Wolf, The Dog Spot, Joseph, OR
  • The Astro Loyalty offer on FELINE NATURAL 3.5-ounce freeze-dried cat food was insane in the month of May. The discount was more than 50%, with a limit of eight per customer. We had customers strategically planning their purchases over the span of the month, to reach their eight-bag limit just as the offer came to a close. — Molly Lewis, Dog River Pet Supplies, Hood River, OR
  • We had a Memorial Day Party for the pups. We sold 35 party packages and made $500 just from that alone. — Molly Taylor, Molly’s Mutt House, Houston, TX
