Annamaet Petfoods Renames Popular ‘option’ Formula To ‘medium & Large Breed Salmon’

(PRESS RELEASE) HATFIELD, PA — Annamaet Petfoods Inc., recently announced a new name for its longtime Option dog food formula. Formerly known as Annamaet Option, the formula is now Annamaet Medium & Large Breed Salmon.

While the name is changing, the formula itself remains the same. Medium & Large Breed Salmon Formula continues to be made in the USA with salmon and free-range, grass-fed lamb, along with wholesome grains, and is formulated to meet the nutritional levels established by the Association of American Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) Dog Food Nutrient Profiles for all life stages, including the growth of large-size dogs weighing 70 pounds or more as adults.

The name change is intended to make it easier for pet parents and pet professionals to understand the formula’s key attributes at a glance. The product is specifically designed for medium and large breed dogs and provides an alternative to Annamaet’s chicken-based formulas. It is also corn, wheat, and soy-free.
