Iqi Appoints Alana Brown As Sales Manager North America

(PRESS RELEASE) AMERSFOORT, NL — IQI Trusted Petfood Ingredients announces the appointment of Alana Brown as Sales Manager North America. From May 2026, Alana will strengthen IQI’s North American sales team, leveraging her background in R&D, quality and production, and customer relations.

Background in pet food formulation and manufacturing

Alana brings a decade of experience in quality and R&D in the pet food industry. Most recently, she served as North American Customer Technical Insights Manager at AFB International. In this role, Alana partnered with Sales to meet the product and technical needs of AFB’s most important customers. She was responsible for deeply understanding customer needs and delivering solutions that drove both customer satisfaction and company growth.

Brooke Eiler, Sales Manager North America: “Alana’s experience and knowledge of pet food and ingredient formulation as well as manufacturing will be a huge benefit to IQI and its customers.” Prior to AFB, Alana worked as a Research Associate at Monsanto Company (now Bayer) and a Pet Nutrition Specialist for Crossmark. She also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Missouri-Columbia where she earned her degree in Animal Sciences.

Supporting IQI team and customers

Alana now moves to a sales role, where she can own customer relationships and leverage her deep technical and customer knowledge to support IQI’s growth strategy as well as IQI’s customers. Alana: “Pivoting from R&D into sales is an exciting new challenge for me. I’m looking forward to taking my technical background in pet food and applying it to help our partners find exactly what they need to succeed. Proudly reflecting on almost a decade of work, I’m excited for this next chapter to begin.”
