(PRESS RELEASE) WASHINGTON, D.C. — American Humane Society, the United States’ first national humane organization and the world’s largest certifier of animal welfare practices, announced that Josh’s Frogs has earned the distinction of American Humane Certified for its high standards of care and treatment of animals. American Humane Society’s certification programs help to ensure the humane treatment of more than a billion animals across the globe each year.

The Companion Animal Welfare certification was awarded after a careful assessment of the safety, welfare, well-being and overall condition of the amphibians, reptiles, insects and aquatic life at Josh’s Frogs.

The American Humane Certified Companion Animal Welfare program sets rigorous, science-based, and comprehensive criteria for animal welfare, reviewed by an independent Scientific Advisory Committee comprised of world-renowned leaders in the fields of animal science, animal behavior, and animal ethics.
