The Pet Sustainability Coalition (PSC) is a nonprofit coalition that helps businesses improve environmental performance and unlock growth through hands-on support and collective industry action.

PSC’s State of Sustainability in the Industry Report will be published at the end of the year, sharing a snapshot of where the pet industry stands today, the progress being made, and opportunities for continued action. Coming up in November is Impact Unleashed, PSC’s signature sustainability event for the pet industry.

It is the pet industry’s only third-party verifi ed sustainability accreditation. It is designed to recognize and elevate those companies that go above and beyond with their sustainability performance and meet or exceed requirements on a rigorous third-party assessment. Companies are evaluated on social and environmental impact and are required to continually measure and demonstrate improvement every two years to maintain their status.

This process ensures that companies are working toward outcomes that are universally recognized as important and can be measured for lasting impact.
