Weruva Announces Executive Leadership Evolution

(PRESS RELEASE) NATICK, MA — Weruva founders David and Stacie Forman announced a strategic evolution of the company’s executive leadership team, marking a significant milestone in Weruva’s 20-year history and positioning the brand for its next chapter.

The leadership appointments reflect Weruva’s continued commitment to delivering “Awesome Happy Awesome Healthy” products and experiences for pets, pet parents, retail partners, and employees alike.

Executive Leadership Appointments

  • Anthony Giudice, Executive Vice President
    Formerly EVP of Sales & Marketing, Anthony Giudice will now oversee Weruva’s broader operational strategy and cross-functional execution. Working alongside founders David and Stacie Forman, he will help guide the company’s long-term growth while maintaining Weruva’s longstanding commitment to product quality, culture, and brand integrity.
  • Steve Barber, Senior Vice President of Operations
    Steve Barber will lead Weruva’s finance, operations, and supply chain functions, with a focus on strengthening financial reporting, inventory management, logistics, and organizational efficiency to support the company’s expanding business.
  • Jim Carney, Vice President of Strategic Accounts & Digital Strategy
    Jim Carney will oversee Weruva’s strategic partnerships with America’s two largest eCommerce retailers and two largest pet specialty retailers. He will lead initiatives focused on overall market growth, brand consistency, and online customer experience, supported by Maegan Hansen, Director of Strategic Accounts eCommerce, and Laura Salas, Director of Strategic Accounts Brick & Mortar.
  • Ashley Friery, Chief of Staff
    Ashley Friery will serve as Chief of Staff, supporting executive coordination, cross-departmental alignment, and organizational execution across Weruva. She will also continue leading product development, direct-to-consumer and website operations, and brand management initiatives.
  • Ward Reynolds, Vice President of Sales & Distribution
    Backed by a strong team of sales leaders and account managers, Ward Reynolds will continue leading Weruva’s North American sales strategy, strengthening partnerships across distribution, independent pet retail, and veterinary channels. Ward is also taking the helm with Weruva’s international partners.
  • John Scully, Head of Technology & Analytics
    John Scully will lead Weruva’s technology and analytics initiatives, helping build a more datadriven organization through enhanced reporting, real-time insights, and scalable infrastructure that supports faster decision-making.
