49ers' Kyle Juszczyk Reportedly Fined $14,926 For Beer-chugging Td Celebration

Kyle Juszczyk has reportedly been fined $14,926 for his beer-chugging celebration after scoring a touchdown during the San Francisco 49ers' 35-13 Week 2 win over the Miami Dolphins.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the NFL's letter to the fullback, whose nickname is "Juice," said, "Your imitation of chugging a beer constituted an offensive demonstration and could reasonably be construed as being in poor taste."

Juszczyk's celebration came following his 6-yard touchdown reception in the third quarter to extend the 49ers' lead to 28-6.

The fine, which falls under the NFL's "Sportsmanship — Unsportsmanlike Conduct" category of violations, has already been appealed by Juszczyk, according to Schefter.

Juszczyk texted Schefter that he doesn't drink beer — a note that teammate George Kittle backed up in a X post saying, "Can confirm he doesn't really drink beer but is a good guy."

This is the second time this season that Juszczyk has been fined by the NFL. During Week 1, he was docked $20,033 for using his helmet while making a block during San Francisco's win over the Los Angeles Rams in Australia.

As part of the appeal process, Juszczyk will have a hearing with one of the NFL's appeals officers — Derrick Brooks, Jordy Nelson or James Thrash — who are jointly appointed and paid by the league and the NFLPA. Once the officer makes a decision, the ruling is final and binding.
