5 Players Jets Fans Should Watch At The 2026 Senior Bowl
The 2026 Senior Bowl takes place on Saturday afternoon, following a week of practice in Mobile, Ala., that has already seen several top draft prospects making their mark.
Let’s break down some of the players who could fill a potential need for the Jets.
TCU S Bud Clark
One thing the Jets must add to their team in 2026 is players who can create turnovers, after they posted the lowest turnover total in NFL history and failed to register a single interception.
Clark could be the type of player they look to bring in on Day 2 of the draft.
During his college career, Clark racked up an impressive 15 interceptions in four years as a starter. He also showcased his playmaking ability in Senior Bowl practice with an impressive one-handed pick. He has decent size, at 6-foot-1, and will be expecting to run a sub-4.5 40-yard dash during the pre-draft process.
Missouri EDGE Zion Young
Defensive end is one of the positions the Jets could opt to address with one of their two first-round picks. But if they opt to go in another direction, there are a few players in Mobile who could be good Day 2 options.
Young has the size and athleticism to be a three-down edge rusher, and he has been impressing with his power during Senior Bowl practice. His performance and production improved year-on-year throughout his career, which saw him spend two years at Michigan State and two at Missouri. His stock will rise further if he flashes dominance in Saturday's game.
Texas Tech DT Lee Hunter
Hunter’s stock has been on the rise, with some analysts calling him a potential first-round pick. Could he be a target for the Jets as they seek to fill the void left by Quinnen Williams’ departure at the trade deadline?
In Mobile, Hunter’s power has been impressive, and he’s taken advantage of most of his matchups all week. While he is regarded as a force against the run, he only had 7.5 sacks in his college career. However, he’s also showcased some pass rushing disruptiveness this week.

The Jets definitely need to bolster their passing game, and Hurst has established himself as a good mid-round option with a strong week of practice in Mobile. Jets assistant coach Junior Taylor has been working closely with the American Team receivers this week, and would've had a close-up look at Hurst's impressive one-handed touchdown grab on Tuesday.
Hurst brings good height, at 6-foot-3, and is a tremendous athlete. But scouts have suggested he needs to bulk up to maximise his abilities at the next level. If he does, he could be a difference-maker at the next level. If drafted by the Jets, Hurst could compete with Adonai Mitchell for playing time, initially, but the team would hope he eventually develops into a starter.
Pitt LB Kyle Louis
It’s widely believed Quincy Williams will be leaving the Jets during the offseason, as the free agent probably wants a fresh start, having been benched in 2025. The Jets will therefore be looking to add some depth at linebacker, and Louis has been one of the more impressive linebackers in Mobile this week.
Louis is a modern linebacker, at just 6-feet and 224 pounds, and brings good versatility. However, the aspect of his game that will most interest the Jets is the potential to be an outstanding coverage linebacker. That was an area of weakness for the team last season, but Louis had six interceptions over the past two seasons and has impressed with his coverage skills over the past week.
