The Rams' Infinity Gauntlet is missing but one stone. Whether Los Angeles is able to procure a gem in Aaron Donald to fill out its defense should be answered in short order.

The 35-year-old former Rams defensive star is looking to possibly drop the "former" from that distinction. His most recent act of testing the waters was working out with the Rams on Wednesday, Aug. 5.

While no decision has been made on whether Donald will remain retired, Wednesday's workout through camp required the team to inform the league, as the three-time player of the year used official team gear and a helmet, according to Adam Schefter.

USA TODAY Sports will have live updates and the latest rumors on Aaron Donald and his pending decision to join the L.A. Rams.

"Best tryout that we've ever had," McVay said. When pressed on whether the former star had a shot, McVay smiled, "I think he could make the team."

Donald officially worked out for the Los Angeles Rams, according to the NFL's official transaction wire.
