The wait for Aaron Donald’s potential return to the Los Angeles Rams continues.

While all signs point to Donald’s return, an official decision has not been made.

The three-time Defensive Player of the Year spent a decade playing for the organization but retired after the 2023 season.

The Rams won the Super Bowl in 2021 with Donald on the roster and will have a chance at another strong postseason run this season. The team finished out the 2025 season with a loss to the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC Championship Game.

The Rams are viewed as the favorite to win the Super Bowl this season after acquiring pass rusher Myles Garrett and cornerback Trent McDuffie to help bolster the defense.

USA TODAY Sports will have live updates and the latest rumors on Aaron Donald and his pending decision to rejoin the L.A. Rams:

"I don't think there's a rush on the Aaron Donald timeline, but I think the timeline is fluid," Schefter said. "This is all based on how he feels and the type of form he thinks he can regain."
