Alex Singleton Named Afc Defensive Player Of The Week

After an incredible 19-tackle game, Denver Broncos inside linebacker Alex Singleton has been awarded AFC Defensive Player of the Week. He also added a sack, two quarterback hits, and a tackle for a loss. He is the second Broncos’ defender to earn that honor this year joining Talanoa Hufanga who got one earlier this year.

That Week 1 debacle in Kansas City is but a distant memory as the whole defense has been returning to its normal dominant form with Singleton leading the NFL in double-digit tackle games this season. Hopefully we see all of that continue in the rematch with the Chiefs on Sunday.

Broncos vs Chiefs preview: Denver attempts a redo

The first game of the 2026 season for your Denver Broncos did not go according to plan. Not that anyone in Broncos Country needs a reminder. Denver was flogged 31-10 by the Kansas City Chiefs. And the Broncos defense still hasn’t tackled Kenneth Walker.
