Unfortunately for the Arizona Cardinals, after moving on from Marvin Harrison Jr. they gave a different wide receiver a shot, and in what can only be described as normal Cardinals luck, that wide receiver has sustained an injury and his done for the season.

Jalen Brooks, a fourth year wideout was pacing for a career season, with five receptions for 81 yards on the season, and his most yards in a game this season with 35.

Now, he is on IR and the team has made a couple other moves.

The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced that the team has placed wide receiver Jalen Brooks on injured reserve.

In addition, the team has re-signed offensive lineman Austin Deculus and safety Wydett Williams Jr. to the practice squad and has released safety Jerrick Reed II from the practice squad.

The signings took place today at the Dignity Health Arizona Cardinals Training Center in Tempe, AZ.

Deculus will wear jersey #75 and Williams will wear #31.

Good luck to Brooks getting healthy, and welcome back to both Deculus and Williams Jr.
