Bears Lock In Rb D'andre Swift With Contract Extension

D'Andre Swift is running to the bank.

The Chicago Bears running back has agreed to a three-year, $33.75 million extension, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. It includes $27.5 million guaranteed.

Swift was entering the final year of a three-year $24 million deal that he inked with the Bears during free agency in 2024. This new contract will now extend his stay in the "Windy City" through the 2029 campaign.

The extension demonstrates the faith that the Bears, and head coach Ben Johnson, have in Swift going forward. The 27-year-old enjoyed a career-year in 2025, recording 257 touches, 1,386 scrimmage yards and 10 touchdowns in 16 games.

Now Swift will continue working in tandem with Kyle Monangai as Chicago's one-two punch for years to come.
