Best Available Offensive Players For Bills On Day 2 Of 2026 Nfl Draft
The Buffalo Bills successfully maneuvered their way completely out of the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft on Thursday night thanks to three separate trades to slowly inch their way back while increasing their overall Day 2/3 pick arsenal.
Now that we have the trades announced, the team is scheduled to select twice on Friday night at picks 35 and 66 overall (25 pick jump from where they were originally set to pick before the NFL Draft began). The team is also in a position to move back into the third round as well thanks to acquiring the first pick in the fourth round thanks to their third and final trade of the night with the Tennessee Titans. Many good players at positions of need still remain on the board as we roll on with a brand new set of picks.
Let’s discuss the best available offensive players on the board heading into Day 2 with a focus on positions of need for the team. Click here to read Buffalo Rumblings’ article about the best available defensive players for the Bills on Day 2.
Wide Receiver
Denzel Boston, WR (Washington) — Washington is going to come off the board early on day two. It’s a bit of a surprise he didn’t come off on Thursday night. Boston is a higher tiered version of a player like Keon Coleman. He’s not a burner and he isn’t sudden. But, he is a true X-receiver who has enough fluidity, size, and ability to escape press to live on the outside. He possesses strong hands and ability to pluck the ball off his frame. Boston did not run a 40-yard dash which is telling of what you see on film with his speed and overall burst to escape man coverage.
Germie Bernard, WR (Alabama) — Bernard is the ultimate “jack-of-all-trades and master of none” prospect at the receiver position in this class. The former Washington transfer is quick out of his breaks and has enough speed to be able to separate against man coverage. He’s adequate after the catch and also has the body contortion to make the difficult grab. He’s a dirty work player who will also make hay and stay on the field as a run blocker. The issue with Bernard is that he doesn’t have one trump card. He’s not a burner, doesn’t have elite size, and isn’t an elite short area athlete either. It’s hard to see Bernard busting because of his ability, but his upside also remains in question.
Chris Bell, WR (Louisville) — Bell may have been a first round player if it weren’t for a torn ACL in November 2025. Bell has a frame reminiscent to A.J. Brown and the athletic profile is similar as well. His profile is a rare one. He’s still developing his game as a route runner and it remains to be seen if he’s too tightly wound to thrive in that area or if that can be improved with coaching. He can light a scoreboard up with his ability to catch and burn. If the route running technique comes along and he comes back healthy, this could be one of the steals of day two. Bell has freaky, unique traits for the position.

Antonio Williams, WR (Clemson) — This isn’t a Bills target per se, but Williams is about as close to a Khalil Shakir clone as you are going to find in any draft class. He’s a very quarterback friendly player with athletic fluidity to create separation as a quick game focus. He possesses traits of a “quarterback’s best friend.”
Malachi Fields, WR (Notre Dame) — Field is another big target with potential either as a big slot or x-receiver in the NFL. He’s over 6’4” and uses it well. He looked more fluid on film getting in and out of breaks while accelerating than his 4.61 40-yard dash at the Combine. He’s a player that primarily worked the vertical plane and does not have much versatility to the routes he ran. The 40-yard dash time will scare some teams off but there could be a good player in here. The tape showed a fluid mover.
De’Zhaun Stribling, WR (Ole Miss) — Stribling has a bulky frame at 6’2” 205-pounds and has an athletic play style and testing score (4.36 40-yard dash). He’s sudden off the line and build speed quickly on the vertical plane. Similar to Fields, he ran a ton of routes on the vertical plane with plenty of go balls and curls on his tape. He’s a reliable player who rarely drops the football and does compete at the catch point as well. Stribling may be limited in upside thanks to a limited route history and just average ability to get in and out of breaks. But he will threaten vertically for a team that needs that skill set.
Ted Hurst, WR (Georgia State) — Hurst is a high upside outside receiver who has very good size and athleticism tools to work with. He’s a very fluid athlete vertically, laterally, and gearing up/down. Hurst has some “wow” plays at a slightly lower level of competition. Drops are an issue with him and he needs to learn how to escape press coverage in the NFL at a more consistent level. He also doesn’t play to his nearly 6’4” frame as often as you’d like him to.
Interior Offensive Line
Chase Bisontis, IOL (Texas A&M) — There’s a ton to like about Bisontis’s game. He’s a nasty run blocker with overall strength throughout his entire body. He could be an elite run blocker in the NFL very quickly thanks to very good athleticism, overall size,, and the aforementioned strength profile. He could work very well in multiple run schemes. His smooth movement and base allow him to hold up as a pass protector. The areas where Bisontis struggles have to do with overall length. Despite being 6’5”, he only has 31 3/4” arms. His arm length led to losses on his edges in college and that may continue in the NFL. By many accounts, Bisontis is by far the best offensive lineman available at this stage of the draft. He will likely come off the board quickly.
Emmanuel Pregnon, IOL (Oregon) — Pregnon is a prospect who may be best slotted as a left guard in a power/gap scheme. Pregnon is a strong, burly presence with massive 11” mauling hands. He’s another body strong throughout his frame who throws dudes “out of the club.” Pregnon doesn’t show himself as having good foot speed on tape. Although, he did test as a quality athlete at the 2026 NFL Scouting Combine. The ability to stay leveraged with footwork on his blocks was an issue and his movement, in general, isn’t as good as other interior offensive linemen in this class. Overall, Pregnon is a mauler who tested like a dancing bear but has some more clunkiness to his game on film.

Caleb Tiernan, IOL (Northwestern) — Tiernan isn’t all that different from former Bills left guard David Edwards. He’s a college tackle that may kick inside to guard in the NFL. His length has been an issue at times in college and the measurements of 32” arms at the Combine bear that out to where he may kick inside. Tiernan appears to be a good athlete and dancing bear on film with ability to mirror rushers adequately. He’s got some sand in his pants to drop his anchor and leverage to stop players going through his chest. He plays a smart overall game and diagnoses well. Length is a primary concern (hence the guard projection). He needs to get better in multiple facets as a run defender latching and staying controlled on first contact. Tiernan is an intriguing projection where some may see a tackle and many others will see a guard translation.
Gennings Dunker, IOL Iowa) — Dunker has a great name and a red-haired mullet to get the party started right for a nasty, nail-chewing interior offensive lineman. This is a very powerful human being with the ability to forklift players out of the gap. He’s a solid athlete, but he gets a bit overzealous at times in his punch and striking which leaves him susceptible to losses despite clear football IQ and want-to in how he approaches the game. His athleticism is more fine than an overall strength.
