Bills News: Buffalo Legends Weigh-in On Bills 2026 Season

The Buffalo Bills will close out the preseason Thursday night when the Pittsburgh Steelers come to Highmark Stadium, and while there are still more than a few roster spots up for grabs, one of the pivotal positional battles appears to have been settled heading into Week 3 of the preseason.

Today’s edition of Buffalo Rumblinks leads off by recapping the latest news out of One Bills Drive, including how returner Alec Anderson has reportedly won the starting left guard battle, edging out Austin Corbett.

Alec Anderson appears to have won the starting LG job

ESPN Buffalo Bills reporter Alaina Getzenberg was the first to report the news that Alec Anderson will be Buffalo’s starting left guard this year. Anderson, who was originally signed by the Bills as an undrafted rookie free agent following the 2022 NFL Draft, has played in 34 games over the last two seasons, including making six starts as a valuable backup on the offensive line. Anderson takes over for veteran David Edwards, who departed as a free agent in the offseason. Anderson edged out Austin Corbett, who will provide valuable depth backing up Anderson.
