CeeDee Lamb has a new spot in Dallas Cowboys franchise history.

Lamb began the season needing 44 receiving yards to surpass his predecessor in Club 88 for fifth in franchise history from a receiving yards standpoint. He has now done it.

And he barely did so, at least in the season opener. Lamb finished the Week 1 loss to the New York Giants with 44 yards exactly, but that is enough.

With Lamb having passed one 88 he now has two more in front of him in Drew Pearson and Michael Irvin. Time will obviously tell whether or not he is able to get there, but that he did this before reaching 100 career games (this was 96 for him) speaks to his potential.
