Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. In the NFL’s Week 1, the Chiefs will host the Denver Broncos for “Monday Night Football” at Arrowhead Stadium.

Wide receiver Marvin Mims (Foot) was the only player to appear on Denver’s injury report Thursday; he was a full participant in practice.

Some notes

  • For the Chiefs, two players did not participate in Thursday’s practice: left tackle Josh Simmons (Back) and safety Chamarri Conner (Knee). Both have missed nearly a month of practice.
  • No Kansas City players were listed as limited participants on Thursday.
  • Defensive end Ashton Gillotte (Foot) was listed as a full participant after missing weeks of practice due to rupturing his plantar fascia. Rookie edge rusher R Mason Thomas (Hamstring) also practiced in full after the injury popped up last week.
  • Quarterback Patrick Mahomes is cleared to start in Week 1, according to head coach Andy Reid. He sounds ready to roll.
