Chiefs-colts Week 2 Final Injury Report: Chris Jones, Mansoor Delane Questionable

Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. In the NFL’s Week 2, the Chiefs will host the Indianapolis Colts for “Sunday Night Football” at Arrowhead Stadium.

Chiefs

The following players did not practice on Wednesday, Thursday or Friday and have been ruled out for the game.

• Left tackle Josh Simmons (Back)
• Defensive back Chamarri Conner (Knee)

Defensive tackle Chris Jones (Calf) was a limited participant in all three practices this week. He is listed as questionable for the game; last week, Jones entered the contest without a game status.

Cornrback Mansoor Delane (Shoulder) was a limited participant in practice on Friday after two full practices Wednesday and Thursday. He is questionable to play.

Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (Knee) was a limited participant in Thursday’s practice, but practiced in full on Friday and has no game status.

The following players were full participants in practice on Wednesday and Thursday.

• Defensive end Ashton Gillotte (Foot)
• Wide receiver Rashee Rice (Knee)
• Defensive end R Mason Thomas (Hamstring)
• Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (Knee)

Colts

Wide receiver Ashton Dulin (Ankle) did not participate in practice all week and has been ruled out.

Wide receiver Alec Pierce (Heel) has no game status after a full participation in practice on Friday; he did not practice on Thursday.

Backup running back D.J. Giddens (Knee) is questionable after he missed practice on Thursday; he practiced in full on Friday.

The following players were listed on the injury report without a game designation:
