Cleveland Browns News (3/21): Let’s Hear It For The Defense!
If the first week of NFL free agency was all about general manager Andrew Berry trying to fix the offensive line, the second week has been mostly about building depth along the defensive line.
In addition to making the signing of free agent defensive tackle Kalia Davis official, Berry has reportedly also signed free agent defensive end AJ Epenesa and re-signed defensive ends Julian Okwara and Sam Kamara.
Those moves may not make headlines in March, but if it turns out that the sum is greater than the parts come this fall, then that is what really matters.
Free agency is starting to cool off across the league as teams start turning their attention to next month’s NFL Draft. Still, there is always the possibility of the late evening news dump signing from Berry, so be sure to keep checking Dawgs By Nature for all the latest about the Browns.
In the meantime, let’s start off the weekend in a proper fashion with the latest edition of the Saturday Dawg Chow.
