The Las Vegas Raiders are starting to complete their coaching staff after hiring Klint Kubiak. They have hired Rob Leonard as defensive coordinator and will continue to add to the coaching staff before the NFL Combine.

Once the coaching staff is complete, they can begin planning how to add star players. One place where people feel there is a hole is wide receiver. The Raiders are incredibly young at the position and could look to add an explosive player to help take it to the next level.

CBS Sports did a scenario on potential trades that could shock the NFL. One of them was the Raiders trading for Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Tee Higgins.

“If you’re the Raiders, you’re trying to give Fernando Mendoza, who we assume is going to be the No. 1 overall pick, as many weapons as possible,” Sullivan said. “It’s pretty nice with Ashton Jeanty and Brock Bowers in that offense, but they are a little thin at wide receiver. So, bringing in someone like Tee Higgins, who has been a 1B over the course of his career, I don’t even consider him a secondary option in that offense.”

While it is a risky scenario, if Tee Higgins is available, it would be a significant upgrade at the position. He already has 45 touchdowns in his career, being the second option next to Jamar Chase, and would be a perfect fit for a Fernando Mendoza back shoulder. It would be a long shot, but the Raiders might gamble if he is available.
