According to Chris Tomasson of the Denver Gazette, the Denver Broncos have waived wide receiver Cameron Ross today.

Source says #Broncos waive Cam Ross. Want him back for practice squad.

Ross signed with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent after the 2026 NFL Draft. In his final college season at Virginia, he caught 53 passes for 543 yards and two touchdowns and added a 100-yard kickoff-return touchdown.

He showed some ability in preseason and his special team’s play could be his path onto an NFL roster:

His special teams’ ability as a returner is intriguing and that has value in the NFL. With Marvin Mims Jr. in a contract year, there could be an opening for Ross to make a mark in Denver in the future based on his skillset.

It would not surprise me if we see Cam Ross added to the 16-man practice squad this week.
