Eagles Injury Report: Jonathan Greenard Limited Again
The Philadelphia Eagles issued their second official injury report of the week on Thursday in advance of their Week 1 game against the Washington Commanders.
The Eagles listed two players under LIMITED PARTICIPATION: Jonathan Greenardand Eli Stowers.
The Eagles are said to be determining Greenard’s availability based on how he fares in practice this week. Two days of him being limited doesn’t necessarily preclude him from playing … but they’d probably like to see him get at least one full session in before he suits up. So, we’ll see how things go for Friday’s final injury report.

He called his pec injury “one of them freak things” that happened while working out.
“Thank God I didn’t need surgery.”
“Obviously it's not 100 (percent), but in a…

Stowers was limited for the second day in a row as well. Even if he’s medically cleared by Sunday, the rookie is probably going to be a healthy scratch as the Eagles’ fourth tight end.
Eagles ST coordinator Michael Clay says E.J. Jenkins is going to be a key special teams player for this team.

LIMITED PARTICIPATION
EDGE Jonathan Greenard (pectoral)
TE Eli Stowers (hamstring)
WASHINGTON COMMANDERS INJURY REPORT (THURSDAY)
There are two changes to Washington’s report from Wednesday’s version:
- Starting defensive tackle Daron Payne was added as a limited participant due to a knee injury.
- Starting defensive lineman Javon Kinlaw was added as a full participant with a back injury.
It seems like Payne may have suffered an injury in practice. It’s unclear if it’ll prevent him from playing on Sunday.
Being added to the injury report with a back issue is never a good thing. But Kinlaw still being full go suggests he’ll suit up.
Starting edge rushers K’Lavon Chaisson and Odafe Oweh were limited for the second day in a row. Even if they play, they seem to be less than 100%. Ditto for top running back Jacory Croskey-Merritt.
LIMITED PARTICIPATION
EDGE K’Lavon Chaisson (knee)
RB Jacory Croskey-Merritt (groin)
EDGE Odafe Oweh (calf)
DT Daron Payne (knee)
FULL PARTICIPATION
C/G Nick Allegretti (calf)
DT Javon Kinlaw (back)
LB Jordan Magee (chest)
QB Marcus Mariota (knee)
EDGE Charles Omenihu (wrist)
