The Philadelphia Eagles are back at home in Week 4 against the Los Angeles Rams, and hope to turn things around on Sunday afternoon.

Fresh off their first loss of the season, the Eagles had plenty to work on throughout the week. From execution to fundamentals, just about everything needed addressed. The team made several roster moves, and for the game specifically, elevated two tights ends, and also put Tanner McKee back as QB2.

Philly’s inactive list is getting longer every week, and Lane Johnson was a surprising addition on Sunday due to a personal reason. Without Johnson, rookie Markel Bell will get his first career start against the Rams, and the team will only dress 47 players.

I don’t think this is a must-win game — at least any more than that’s every week’s ultimate goal —, but seeing improvement from Monday night’s game is going to be huge as they finish off the first quarter of the season. The Eagles don’t have a bye until Week 10, and it’s going to be a really long stretch if they don’t start playing competent football.
