Echelon Launches Connected Pilates Reformer Line For Commercial Facilities

Echelon is officially bringing Pilates into its connected fitness ecosystem, with the global of launch of its new Meridian Reformer Commercial Series, leveraging one the fastest-growing modality in the industry.

Operators across fitness and wellness, including gyms and studios, hospitality, multifamily communities, corporate wellness centers and more will have access to the fully customizable equipment, available in both a connected model and a traditional reformer configuration with or without a 24-inch connected display. 

That enables access to Echelon’s new instructor-led, live and on-demand Pilates experiences as well as the brand’s extensive library of fitness content, including mobility, stretching, recovery, mindfulness, strength training and wellness programming.

“Pilates has become one of the most requested fitness modalities worldwide, yet many operators struggle to scale due to instructor shortages, studio limitations, and growing waitlists,” said Echelon founder and CEO Lou Lentine. “Meridian allows facilities to deliver premium Pilates experiences at scale while giving members the flexibility to participate whenever it fits their schedule.”

Operators can choose the machine that best fits their space, choosing from commercial-grade aluminum construction, premium hardwood finishes, multiple upholstery options and custom brand color selections.

The machines also feature a foldable design with integrated transport wheels for operators seeking to maximize revenue per square foot. Echelon says facilities can quickly convert existing group fitness rooms into Pilates studios and then repurpose the same space for functional training, stretching, recovery programming, small-group training or group exercise classes throughout the day.

“As real estate and construction costs continue to rise, operators are looking for ways to maximize revenue per square foot,” Lentine said. “Meridian gives facilities the ability to offer a premium Pilates experience without permanently dedicating valuable floor space to a single modality.”
