Eventually, LeBron James will pick a new team.

Or an old team.

Either way, we won’t know the full scope of the Sixers’ offseason until James makes his decision for the 2026-27 season. ESPN’s Shams Charania has consistently mentioned the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat and Sixers as the top-three destinations, with the Golden State Warriors and Minnesota Timberwolves on the periphery. Anyone insisting they know where he’s going is … well … probably full of shit. Admittedly, my gut tells me he’s not coming here, but I also don’t feel comfortable ruling it out. I really, truly don’t know (see, you’re allowed to say that!).

If you want to talk LeBron, we can, but I’m not sure I have much to add to the conversation at this point. He’s either coming here or he’s not and we’ll act accordingly.
