Ex-colts Cb Jaylon Jones Reportedly Signs With Afc South Rival
According to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, the Tennessee Titans have signed former Indianapolis Colts cornerback Jaylon Jones, who reunites with his ex-defensive coordinator Gus Bradley in the Music City:

Although he went unclaimed off league waivers, it only seemed like a matter of time before another NFL club would take a chance on the 24-year old Jones, who was a former two-year starting cornerback for the Colts.
Originally a 2023 7th round pick of Indianapolis, the 6,’2”, 203 pound cornerback’s early Colts career got off to a fast start, as he started in 27 games over his first two seasons—and had 2 interceptions during that same span.
However, with veteran defensive coordinator Lou Anarumo’s arrival last year, Jones was miscast and less of a natural fit in his coverage scheme. He appeared in 10 games last season for the Colts, making 2 starts.
While he played decently well this past preseason, he was playing late in the second half of games, meaning that he was squarely on the roster bubble. Even though he survived initial final 53-man roster cuts, he didn’t last on the Colts roster much longer, as Indy recently elected to carry backup offensive tackle Luke Tenuta instead.
Jones had some initial success under Bradley, and it’s only logical that he reunites with the ex-Colts defensive coordinator, albeit with one of Indianapolis’ longtime AFC South rivals.
