Fitness International’s Club Studio Expands In La

The premium fitness concept from the parent company of LA Fitness is adding clubs in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica as it pursues ambitious nationwide growth

Club Studio, the premium, group fitness-oriented concept from LA Fitness parent company Fitness International, is expanding its Los Angeles footprint with plans for two new locations in Beverly Hills and Santa Monica.

The new clubs will be located at 8484 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills and 2001 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica, marking Club Studio’s second location in the latter city. Club Studio currently operates a handful of clubs in the Southern California area, according to its website.

Both new clubs will feature Club Studio‘s signature combination of boutique-style group fitness, premium strength and cardio equipment, personal training and recovery amenities, bringing multiple fitness and wellness offerings together under one roof.

The company hasn’t yet announced opening dates or additional details about the clubs’ size and specific amenities.

“The communities surrounding these locations are exactly the type of markets where Club Studio thrives,” said Nick Roberts, chief real estate officer at Fitness International. “Residents and people who work in these areas are looking for more than a traditional gym experience.”

The expansion reflects Fitness International’s continued investment in Club Studio, which is positioned as a higher-end alternative to traditional big-box gyms.

Launched in 2023, the concept houses five boutique fitness studios under one roof, offering six different class formats spanning HIIT, cycling, boxing, reformer Pilates, yoga and trampoline-based workouts.

Club Studio also offers recovery amenities such as cryotherapy, massage beds, compression therapy and percussion therapy, positioning itself as a more comprehensive fitness and wellness destination.

The two new locations are part of a broader nationwide expansion push for Club Studio, with the operator targeting major markets including Los Angeles, New York City and Houston.
