Former Chiefs Super Bowl Champ Gets Into Halftime Fight With Ufl Fans — Then Scores Touchdown
The UFL is back, and things are already getting heated.
During halftime of the Birmingham Stallions 15-13 win over the Louisville in Friday’s Week 1 matchup, a fight broke out which included former Chiefs receiver Justyn Ross.
As players from the Stallions left the field for their halftime break, boos from Kings fans broke out in the tunnel, with words being exchanged between the players and spectators.

In the video posted to X, Ross, who was walking alongside his team, quickly snaps around to confront one of the jeering fans and throws a cup into their face, spraying the drink all over the crowd before being restrained by his teammates.
Another fan returned fire, throwing their drink on Ross and his teammates, which prompted him to lunge towards the fan before again being held back by the other players.
After some light pushing and shoving, officials jumped in to break up the altercation, escorting the Stallions team to their locker room.
Ross wound up getting the last laugh — with two minutes left in Friday’s game, he caught a 14-yard touchdown pass which would seal the Stallions’ win.

The 26 year old finished the game with 30 receiving yards on five targets.
Before joining the UFL, Ross spent two seasons with the Chiefs, but did not see much time of the field, having just 53 total career receiving yards through 12 games.
Friday’s game brought a turnout of 14,034 fans, nearly filling up Lynn Family Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky.
“It feels awesome,” Birmingham head coach AJ McCarron told reporters after his coaching debut, according to AL.com. “I have a super resilient bunch. And the way they played for me and each other, I’m just super proud.”
The Stallions will be on NFL Network for their next matchup against the Houston Gamblers at 5 p.m. local time on April 5.
“It feels awesome, but it’s only one,” McCarron said. “Our biggest thing is worry about the process. Don’t worry about the results. Can’t think ahead. Be where your feet are.
“I thought we did a great job of that, and we’ll start off all over again next week.”
