Tennessee was second overall in total defense with 311.2 opponents' yards per game during Wilson's first year.
The Titans also ranked fourth in passing defense at 177.3 yards allowed per game.
Both were their best marks in the respective categories since 2000.

His first NFL jobs came from 2012-16 with the Rams, starting out as a defensive quality control coach (2012-14) before moving to defensive backs coach (2015-16).
The Upper Marlboro, Md., native played safety at Maryland and was a graduate assistant for his alma mater from 2007-08.
He got his start in the NFL as a pro scout in the Chicago Bears' player personnel department from 2008-11.
