Giants Re-sign Rt Jermaine Eluemunor; What It Means For New York
The New York Giants have agreed to terms to bring back right tackle Jermaine Eluemunor, per a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. The Giants and Eluemunor have agreed to a three-year, $39 million contract, $13 million per year, which includes $26 million guaranteed.

The Giants originally signed Eluemunor to bolster their offensive line with a 2-year contract in 2024, and he responded beyond their wildest dreams. Eluemunor wasn’t just a good depth piece, but became a stalwart bookend for Andrew Thomas, forming one of the better tackle duos in the NFL.
Eluemunor solidifying the Giants’ right tackle position made him their most important free agent and the lynchpin to their entire off-season strategy. Had the Giants lost Eluemunor to free agency, they either would have had to (probably) settle for a worse veteran option or draft a tackle highly in a tackle-poor 2026 NFL draft.
By retaining Eluemunor, the Giants are free to devote their premium draft picks to building for the future at other positions.
The Giants still have to address the right guard position, but keeping Eluemunor goes a long way toward solidifying their offensive line.
