Hilton Bets On Next-gen Fitness & Wellness Amenities
Signia Restore will bring Aescape, Peloton, Normatec, Ammortal and other fitness and recovery offerings under one roof, starting in Indianapolis
Hilton is making a bigger play for the fitness and wellness-minded traveler, launching a new concept that combines high-end training, recovery technology and personalized wellness inside its hotels.
Signia Restore will debut at the new Signia Hilton Indianapolis, which is accepting reservations beginning in January 2027, before expanding to select Signia Hilton properties globally.
Rather than a traditional hotel gym or spa, Restore is being positioned as an integrated wellness destination spanning fitness, physical and mental recovery and retail, with a dedicated wellness concierge helping guests navigate the offerings.
“At Hilton, we see wellness as an increasingly important part of how guests want to travel, whether they are on the road for business, attending a major event or simply looking to feel their best while away from home,” Hilton vice president of wellness Amanda Al-Masri said.
The concept gives Hilton a way to capitalize on consumers’ growing interest in maintaining their fitness and wellness routines while traveling, bringing technologies and brands increasingly common in premium gyms and recovery concepts into the hospitality environment.
The fitness side of Signia Restore will include Peloton bikes, treadmills, rowing and conditioning equipment, along with free-weight and functional training areas.
Recovery is where Hilton is making an even bigger push.
Signia Restore will feature Aescape, the AI-powered robotic massage platform that has been expanding across fitness, hospitality and wellness venues. The Indianapolis location will also offer the Ammortal Chamber, a multi-modality wellness experience combining red and near-infrared light therapy, pulsed electrostatic fields, vibroacoustics, molecular hydrogen and guided breathwork.
Other recovery amenities include Normatec compression technology and percussive therapy, along with an infrared halotherapy red-light sauna, a hybrid sauna, sensory showers and a cold therapy room.
A separate mental recovery and readiness area will feature Zero G MindSync Harmonic Loungers, while a retail component will sell functional nutrition and hydration products, wellness products and athleisure.
Signia Restore will also be available for private group buyouts geared toward executive retreats, leadership summits and corporate gatherings.
Following its Indianapolis launch, Hilton plans to bring Signia Restore to select Signia properties globally, although the company has not yet disclosed additional locations.
“With Signia Restore, we are expanding that vision through an experience that brings together movement, recovery and personalization in a way that feels elevated, approachable and highly relevant to today’s traveler,” Al-Masri said.
