Ja'marr Chase Injury Update As Bengals Star Is Pulled Down By Facemask

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase was injured in the second quarter of his team's Week 4 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Chase caught a dump-off pass from Joe Burrow and tried to evade Jaguars cornerback Jarrian Jones when the star receiver was twisted to the ground by his face mask.

Chase remained down after the tackle. He received medical attention on the field but was eventually able to make his way into the blue medical tent for further evaluation.

Chase was then taken back to the locker room for assessment. He was walking under his own power but had a towel draped over his head.

The Bengals announced that Chase is being evaluated for a concussion. He is officially "questionable" to return to the team's Week 4 game against the Jaguars.

Chase recorded three catches for 26 yards before exiting the game with the injury.

Chase was injured in the second quarter of the Bengals' Week 2 game against the Jaguars after being dragged down by the facemask.

Chase's head twisted awkwardly before he went to the ground. He was able to leave the field under his own power but eventually made his way to the locker room to be evaluated for a concussion.
