San Francisco 49ers fans are still trying to unpack the fact that team owner Jed York was caught trying to pay just $140 for sex with a prostitute in a Ohio trailer park on Sunday.

Comedy is often a great means of coping. 49ers fans have been utilizing this coping method on social media all day.

X user @cujoknows posted a video of a fancy car in the driveway of a dilapidated house with the caption, “Jed York on a random weekend in Ohio”.

X user @Prisonmitch posted a GIF of NFL legend Tom Brady turning around and smirking as he noticed someone while in court. The post was captioned, “Robert Kraft when Jed York walks into the next owners meeting:”

This X post references when New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft was caught on camera allegedly engaging in sex acts in a South Florida massage parlor back in 2019. Kraft was charged with misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution but was never convicted.

The iconic @NFLMemes account referenced another NFL scandal involving a massage parlor, posting a supercar speeding down an empty highway with the caption, “Deshaun Watson after hearing there’s a trailer park in Ohio that only charges $140”.

This meme alludes to Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was accused of lurid sexual misconduct by more than 20 female massage therapists in 2022. He did not face criminal charges in the matter, but was suspended six games in a subsequent ruling.

While none of these stories are funny in and of themselves, social media is a place for fans to decompress and digest their feelings about the world’s biggest stories.
