Kevin Hart Invests In Burn Boot Camp, Plans California Location

The comedian and entrepreneur is expanding his wellness footprint with an ownership role in the popular group fitness franchise

Kevin Hart has joined Burn Boot Camp as executive partner of brand and growth, taking an ownership role in the group fitness franchise, which has more than 620 open and awarded territories and an omnichannel platform that includes digital memberships.

He is also slated to open his own Burn Boot Camp location in California later this year.

The Burn Boot Camp member experience centers on 45-minute, trainer-led group workouts that alternate between strength and conditioning days, with programming that changes daily to target different muscle groups and training styles. Sessions are designed to accommodate all fitness levels, with coaching delivered in a group setting. Classes take place on a shock-absorbing floating floor intended to reduce joint impact.

As a partner and owner, I’m committed to helping build a brand that develops leaders, creates healthy families and delivers lasting impact.”

Burn Boot Camp CEO and co-founder Morgan Kline said Hart’s involvement marks a defining moment for the brand, which she launched in 2012 alongside her husband, Devan Kline.

“He brings credibility, discipline and a values-driven leadership mindset that aligns naturally with our mission,” Kline said. “Kevin’s commitment to family, fitness and community reflects the foundation of our member and franchise partner base and strengthens our ability to scale with intention and purpose.”

Beyond Burn Boot Camp, Hart has partnered with Fabletics, while his venture capital firm, Hartbeat Ventures, led a $35 million Series B round last fall in Simple Life, a London-based AI-powered health coaching app focused on weight loss.
