New Las Vegas Raiders head coach Klint Kubiak is continuing to fill his staff as he reportedly has hired veteran special teams coach Joe DeCamillis, according to CBS Sports.

Let’s get to know DeCamillis some more:

The #Raiders are expected to hire South Carolina’s Joe DeCamillis as special teams coordinator, sources tell @CBSSports.

Current job:

DeCamillis was the special teams coach at South Carolina in the 2025 season.

Age:

He is 60.

Coaching experience:

DeCamillis has 31 years of NFL experience as a special teams coach. He won a Super Bowl with the Denver Broncos in the 2015 season and with the Los Angeles Rams in the 2021 season. His last year in the NFL was the 2022 season with the Rams.

Kubiak ties:

DeCamillis was on the staff of Kubiak’s father, Gary Kubiak, in Denver.

New rules:

DeCamillis will need to adjust to the NFL kickoff rule changes that were implemented since he last coached in the league. It shouldn’t be an issue.

Why the Raiders are interested:

Kubiak clearly feels comfortable with DeCamillis through his father. Also, you can’t beat his experience. That will go a long way in helping a first-time head coach.
