Los Angeles Chargers News: What Went Wrong Open Thread
Good morning, Chargers fans!
Or…maybe not-so good morning, if we’re being honest.
The Chargers were 8.5-point favorites on Sunday against the Cardinals, yet they fell 26-14 at home behind a frustrating and sloppy performance in all three phases of the game.
It simply looked like the entire team chose not to prepare up to their standards because of a “soft” matchup to begin the year. And let’s be honest, it was a soft matchup! But that doesn’t mean you don’t prepare your tails off like it should be every other week.
The Mike McDaniel offense? Disconnected and disjointed.
Chris O’Leary’s defense? Nothing close to Jesse Minter and the elite unit he put together.
Special teams? Yikes.
There’s only so much to be said here, so I’ll turn it over to you all. Drop in the comments and vent those frustrations. Tell us how everything went wrong in this week’s loss and why.
And now for today’s links.
