Makai Lemon Is Back But Now Some Other Eagles Rookies Are Sidelined

The Eagles are back in Philadelphia and the team resumed their training camp practice schedule on Monday. Multiple players are dealing with new injuries just days before the final preseason game of the year.

Following the Eagles’ matchup against the Patriots, it’s unfortunate that Markell Bell (thumb/leg) and Willie Lampkin (stinger) are both banged up. The two young blockers have been getting a lot of attention throughout training camp, and are going to be important depth pieces for the offensive line this season.

Rookie tight end Eli Stowers was also notably added to the report with a hamstring injury. More than a few of his teammates have dealt with similar injuries through the first few weeks of camp, but hopefully Stowers won’t be out long term and will have a chance to get some more reps ahead of Week 1.

Two guys who are officially off the practice report are DeVonta Smith and Makai Lemon who finally returned in full capacity on Monday.
