New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers said on Thursday that the decision on whether or not to play Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys is up to him.

He would not, though, reveal whether or not he would be playing.

“It’s my career and it’s my body,” Nabers said. “I know when I’m able to play.”

"I'm happy it's finally football time."

Nabers said he is “feeling good”, but still won’t commit to being in uniform Sunday night.

“I’ve been wanting to play for so long now,” Nabers said. “At the end of the day, I can’t put my career at risk. I got to take that into account. There’s a lot of football that I still have left to play.”

Q: "You're not going to tell us if you're going to play or start or any of that stuff?"

Nabers has not played since tearing his ACL in Week 4 last season. He had two surgeries to repair the damage.

“I grinded my ass off, excuse my language. I grinded, prayed hard, put in a consistent amount of work,” Nabers said. “I put in the work and I’ve done everything I can to be in this position right now to be able to make the decision to play or to not play.”
