Week 6 had the Las Vegas Raiders dropping their third straight game, falling to the Buffalo Bills 33-30. But let’s see how the weekend fared for a few old friends: Foster Moreau, Davante Adams and Tre’von Moehrig.

Foster Moreau

Score: 34-31 Texans win

Stats: 2 catches, 7 yards, 2 TDs

This was a crazy game across the pond to get Sunday started, with the Houston Texans getting a huge divisional win to keep their hopes of an AFC South title alive. Moreau was a big part of that, hauling in a pair of scores as a red zone threat. Granted, those were his only targets in the game, as the 2019 fourth-round pick continues to be a blocking tight end in Houston. Including Sunday, Moreau has 11 catches for 72 yards and three touchdowns this season.

Maybe I only find this interesting but the Jags call timeout just before the snap and CJ Stroud still throws it to Foster Moreau and he casually catches the ball with one hand.

And then they run the real play after the timeout… pic.twitter.com/eDaDKDmM3Z

Davante Adams

Score: 18-16 Rams lose

Stats: 3 catches, 39 yards

It’s been a while since we’ve checked in on Adams, and now feels like a good time to see how the campaign is going for the wideout. Short answer: not well.

The Los Angeles Rams are easily the NFL’s biggest disappointment at 2-4, and dropping a game to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday feels like the icing on that cake. Meanwhile, Adams had a productive two-game stretch in Weeks 2 and 3, with 23 catches for 332 yards and two touchdowns in those contests. However, he’s been held below 55 yards in every other game.

On top of that, Adams ruptured a hamstring and will be out for the next six to 10 weeks, according to The Athletic’s Nate Atkins, meaning the former Raider will miss next week’s revenge game.

Tre’von Moehrig

Score: 25-14 Panthers win

Stats: 4 tackles, 0.5 sack, 1 TFL, 2 QB hits

This was a big win for the Carolina Panthers, taking down the Philadelphia Eagles to move to 3-2 and sit atop the NFC South standings. Meanwhile, Moehrig managed to make an impact in a few areas of the defense. He’s been having a solid year, collecting 17 tackles in five games and two run stuffs. The 2021 second-round pick has yet to record a PBU or interception in 2026, though.
