Have we seen the last of Jonathan Kuminga in a Warriors uniform?
The Golden State forward, who left Thursday’s 123-115 loss to the Dallas Mavericks at American Airlines Center with a left knee injury, suffered a bone bruise, the team announced on Sunday.

Per the statement, the Warriors will continue to monitor Kuminga’s progress and “a re-evaluation date will be determined in the coming days.”
With 11 days remaining until the NBA’s Feb. 5 trade deadline, there is a chance that Kuminga, who demanded a trade out of Golden State on Jan. 15, has played his final game with the Warriors. That is, of course, if Golden State is able to work out a deal with an interested team between now and the deadline.
Before injuring his knee in the second quarter of Thursday’s loss to the Mavericks, Kuminga scored 10 points with one rebound and two assists in nine minutes off the bench. It was the 23-year-old’s second game back in coach Steve Kerr’s rotations after not playing since Dec. 18.
And now, perhaps, his last game with the organization altogether.
