Packers Cornerback Keisean Nixon Named To Pro Bowl

Keisean Nixon, I just can’t quit you. The Packers cornerback has been named to his first Pro Bowl, replacing Seahawks cornerback Devon Witherspoon as Seattle heads to the Super Bowl. Nixon, who has two first-team All Pro nods as a kick returner, transitioned to being the team’s CB1 during the 2025 season after the release of Jaire Alexander.

Earlier this season, Nixon had one of the best games we’ve seen from a Packers cornerback in some time, recording a whopping 5 pass breakups against the Washington Commanders while allowing just one completion for 9 yards. He also sealed the win for the Packers in their first matchup against the Chicago Bears this season, with a game-ending interception of Caleb Williams in the end zone.

This Pro Bowl nomination may cause a stir amongst some fans, as Nixon also had some rather rough moments against the Bears in their next two matchups of the season, both of which the Packers lost.

In his first season starting all 17 games, Nixon recorded 78 tackles, 1 INT, 17 PBUs, and 1 fumble recovery. Nixon joins DL Micah Parsons as the Packers’ only two representatives in the Pro Bowl for the 2025 season, a sentence I definitely expected to write when the season started.

The 2026 Pro Bowl Games take place next Tuesday, February 3rd. This is the first year that the event will be held during the week of and in the same area as the Super Bowl rather than over the weekend ahead of the Super Bowl.
