With the Free Agency frenzy settling down, it’s time to take stock of all the additions to the Carolina Panthers roster. From star signings like Jaelan Phillips to Devin Lloyd to journeyman re-signings like David Moore and Nick Scott, the Panthers signed 17 players to new contracts this free agency. And that doesn’t even count extensions for the likes of Jalen Coker and Brycen Tremayne. Here’s the full list:

  • Jaelen Phillips, edge
  • Devin Lloyd, linebacker
  • Rasheed Walker, left tackle
  • Stone Forsythe, right tackle
  • Luke Fortner, center
  • Kenny Pickett, quarterback
  • Sam Martin, punter
  • Nick Scott, safety
  • John Metchie, wide receiver
  • David Moore, wide receiver
  • Akayleb Evans, cornerback
  • Robert Rochell, cornerback
  • Claudin Cherelus, linebacker
  • Isaiah Simmons, linebacker
  • Trevis Gipson, edge
  • James Mitchell, tight end
  • JJ Jansen, long snapper

A lot of these guys have spent time with the Panthers in recent years, while the offensive line and linebacking groups have a number of new faces. Is Carolina intelligently shoring up weaknesses while otherwise keeping the bulk of their playoff team together or are they shuffling deck chairs on a listing boat? Here’s your chance to grade the Panthers 2026 free agency class. Follow that up by jumping into the comments to defend or argue against your favorite free agent signing.
