The multilingual capability helps global fitness brands deliver a consistent loyalty experience while making rewards, referrals and member communications more accessible worldwide.

As fitness brands continue to expand into new markets, creating a consistent member experience across multiple countries presents new challenges. Loyalty and referral programs, in particular, depend on clear communication. Members need to understand how to earn points, complete challenges, redeem rewards and refer friends. When those experiences aren’t available in a member’s preferred language, participation and engagement can suffer.

To help operators address that challenge, Perkville has launched a multilingual consumer experience designed to support loyalty and referral programs across international markets.

Perkville, which has spent more than 16 years helping fitness businesses automate loyalty and referral programs, has built its platform around the idea that member engagement should scale alongside a brand’s growth.

Supporting Every Market

The goal is simple: help operators communicate with members in the language they’re most comfortable using, creating a more accessible and engaging loyalty experience.

For members who have not selected a language preference, Perkville automatically defaults to the language set in their browser. Members can also choose their preferred language for the Perkville interface, system messages, notifications and emails, creating a more seamless experience throughout their loyalty journey.

Initial language options include English, Spanish, French, Portuguese and Dutch. The release follows growing demand from fitness operators around the world, including global brands with locations spanning multiple countries.

“Fitness brands should not have to create a separate loyalty experience for every market they enter,” said Sunil Saha, CEO of Perkville. “This update allows operators to use one platform across different countries while giving members an experience that reflects their preferred language.”

The release also reflects feedback from Perkville’s existing customers. French-language support, for example, has been a recurring request from Canadian operators serving members in Quebec. The company has also heard from technology partners that multilingual functionality is becoming an important requirement as fitness brands continue expanding internationally.

“ABC Fitness supports fitness businesses in more than 100 countries, working with operators and global brands around the world,” said Tim Ruge, Chief Growth Officer at ABC Fitness. “At that scale, integrations that can support our global network and the diverse needs of local markets are critical. Perkville’s new multilingual experience enables brands to maintain a consistent loyalty strategy across countries while delivering a more accessible and locally relevant member experience.”

Built for Growing Brands

The multilingual launch is the latest example of Perkville’s broader approach to loyalty and referral technology: giving operators a single platform that can grow with their business.

Designed for franchise organizations, multi-location operators and enterprise fitness brands, the platform integrates with more than 70 CRM and fitness management systems, allowing loyalty and referral programs to fit naturally into existing member workflows rather than requiring operators to manage multiple standalone solutions.

The member experience is equally flexible. Operators can create a fully branded rewards program with their own logo, colors and messaging while delivering a mobile-friendly experience that works seamlessly across devices, existing mobile apps and custom integrations. Members can earn points for the behaviors operators value most — from referrals and class attendance to membership milestones, birthdays and package purchases — through an automated experience that reflects each brand’s identity.

The platform also gives operators the flexibility to tailor rewards and promotions to local markets while maintaining a consistent loyalty strategy across the broader organization. Rather than imposing a single rewards structure, brands can incorporate regional partnerships and locally relevant offers alongside national programs without sacrificing consistency or ease of management.

Designed to Scale

Perkville developed its multilingual functionality as part of the platform itself rather than as a series of individual language translations. That foundation allows the company to add new languages quickly as customer needs evolve, making it easier to support operators entering new markets.

Instead of requiring extensive development work for every new language, the framework is designed to scale alongside customers as they continue to grow internationally.

“We are excited to help global fitness brands deliver a more accessible loyalty and referral experience to members around the world,” Saha said. “As those brands expand, Perkville can support them with a consistent program that is easier for members to use in each market.”
