Raiders-patriots: Ashton Jeanty Is Active
Las Vegas Raiders’ starting running back Ashton Jeanty is active for Sunday’s game at the New England Patriots. Kickoff is set or 10 a.m. PT.
Jeanty, the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft, apparently injured his foot in practice Thursday and he did not practice Friday as the team prepared to play at the New England Patriots on Sunday. Jeanty, who was practicing fully with an ankle issue, was added to the injury report Thursday and he was limited by a foot injury, which reportedly was a flare up of plantar fasciitis. Raiders’ coach Klint Kubiak said Friday that Jeanty is questionable to play in the game
Jeanty worked out prior to the game and the Raiders deemed him healthy enough to play.
Meanwhile, starting wide receiver Jalen Nailor will be out with a concussion. He didn’t practice all week. Rookie offensive lineman Trey Zuhn is also out with a knee injury that kept him out of practice Friday. He has been playing a handful of offensive snaps in Jumbo packages.
